  • Regular washing prevents damage.
  • If you wash your own car, use only soft cotton towels and chamois. Coarse or dirty towels may put fine scratches in the paint. 
  • Regular soaps or detergents will harm the finish
  • Wax should be professionally applied at least every 3 months. Vehicles exposed to harsh weather conditions (rain or direct sun) should be waxed monthly.
  • Look before you park. Do not paint near structure being painted.
  • Don’t let stains go untreated. Remove stains or spills immediately. “Scotchguard” your interior.
  • Research the Auto Detailing company you choose. Car care is all we do. We investigate every car care product on the market and constantly upgrade our equipment.

Q. Why does my vehicle need to be detailed?
A. The exterior surface of your vehicle is not indestructible. S similar to your skin, it needs to be washed regularly, refined and protected. 
First step: Superior Car care uses only pure deionized water and polymer based biodegradable soap to wash your vehicle. Then we dry the surface with soft cotton towels and a synthetic chamois.
Step two: We “compound” the paint, removing industrial fallout and other environmental blemishes from the surface. TIP: If the paint surface feels rough or coarse, regardless of how it looks, it needs to be compounded.
Step three: Wax is now applied to protect the clean unblemished surface of your vehicle. Superior Car Care chooses the proper wax for the paint by evaluating the color and its finish. The wax is applied and removed by hand in most cases, leaving your paint shiny and protected.

 

Q. Why is it important to keep the interior of my vehicle as clean as the exterior?
A. A clean vehicle is a safe and comfortable place to be. As we spend so much of our day behind the wheel, dirt, food and grease build up on the surface.
Superior car Care begins by thoroughly vacuuming the interior. The carpets are shampooed with hot water extraction machines. which disinfect and remove dirt and residue. Leather seats are cleaned and conditioned with “Lexol” PH balanced leather products. Regular cleaning prevents roughness to the material and maintains the color and suppleness.
We finish the interior by thoroughly cleaning the dashboards and center console. Vents are dusted and vacuumed. Doorjambs and panels are wiped clean and interior wood and chrome is polished. All mirrors and windows are spot-free cleaned. 

 

Q. Why is Paint Sealant necessary to protect new paint?
A. New vehicles require a Paint sealant to protect new paint. Superior Car care will do a complete and professional service for a fraction of the cost of Dealerships. All Paint Sealants have a warranty; good only when regular waxing is maintained.

 

Q. I was told by the dealership that with Paint Sealant I never need to wax my vehicle. Is that true?
A. False. There is no such thing as a wax that lasts forever! All cars need to be waxed regularly depending on exposure to sun rain and wind. Paint Sealant is technically a thick wax that lasts approximately 6 months.

 

Q. Do I need to Scotch Guard my interior?
A.  Whether or not your vehicle is new, our Scotch Guard service will protect the interior carpets and upholstery from future stains or spills. Superior Car care offers this service a competitive rate than the Dealerships.

 

Q. What is Paint Overspray removal?
A. Small scattered spots of paints on the surface are evidence of “Paint Overspray”. This is caused by paint from a nearby structure adhering to your vehicle. It is a difficult process as Superior Car Care pays careful attention to the paint surface. Appointments must be made in advance as this service takes up to 8 hours.

 

Q. What does Environmental Fallout look like? How can it be removed?
A. Environmental Fallout is caused by airplanes fumes, acid rain and pollution. These impurities appear as tiny red or brown spots on the surface. Superior Ca Care removes these spots by extensively compounding the paint. The surface is then protected by waxing to prevent future damage.

 

Q.Tell me more about your Monthly Maintenance Program?
A. Superior Car Care offers a Monthly Maintenance Program for our customers that live within the mobile route area. It includes 3 washes and 1 wash and wax per month, to be performed at your home or office. Our mobile units arrive completely stocked with deionized water and power. 

 

Q. Can’t I use the wax at the car wash for about $2.50?
A. We do not recommend this service, as it is actually a wax additive added to the soap, and will not give your vehicle the protection it needs.

 

Q. My “guy” says he can detail for $80? How is your service different?
A. Our “Full Detail” is the most extensive cleaning we provide. Generally we spend about 2 hors of preparing the surface or paint before it is ready to be waxed, including thoroughly shampooing and cleaning the interior. Most detailers use just wipe down the surface and use cheap wax, which lasts about 1 wash or 2 weeks. Our quality wax lasts about 8 washes or 4 months.
